Down’s dim Bucs lights off!

Albeit, Downs’ registered a 15th consecutive win by winning 2-1, both sides brought out the best of each other at half full Orlando Stadium.

For Downs’ fab three “CBD” combination of Leonardo Castro, Khama Billiat and Keagan Dolly caused havoc for the hosts.

It is clear that coach Pitso Mosimane and technical team has instilled discipline and fear-factor into his charges, and they’re responding accordingly.

Yes, both teams should have converted their chances particularly Bucs, whose culprit Ntsikelelo Nyauza, missed ample yet simple of goals to bury, thus infuriating under pressure coach Eric Tinkler on the touchline.

Bucs did not show any signs of missing Kermit Erasmus (now playing abroad) but at times he’s absence was duly felt.

Last night’s results means Downs’ –who are preparing for Continental clash with Zimbabwean outfit Chickens on weekend- has stretched their PSL lead with 9 points and Bucs are still at the seventh position.

Yes, what a brilliant advertisement of football and fans relished on every minute of it!

Other PSL results:

Aces drew 2-all with Ajax CT.
