Faith Nketsi’s husband Njilo behind bars, finally!

AFTER partying quietly at the famous Perere eatery in Sandton last week Friday, Faith Nketsi and wanted husband Nzuzo Njilo, he handed himself over to cops this week.

Smoking hooka and sipping on cocktails the two love birds enjoyed music as on-lookers shared pics with Faith as Nzuzo looked unsuspecting.

Njilo has been on the run for a while, after he and business associate Kwanda Ntshangase, allegedly pretended to be car salesmen and conned a man into buying a truck with them in May 2021 that he never received.

The unsuspecting buyer went and physically viewed the truck at a dealership in Boksburg and later paid the two a substantial amount of money. The truck was never delivered and since then the duo could not be contacted and their whereabouts were unknown by then.

In another scam, Njilo allegedly defrauded Lund industries out of a total of R978 104. This was just before his secret wedding to Faith. The company had entered into a deal with the businessman to buy copper concentrate, but Njilo did not honour his part of the business contract.

Njilo and Ntshangase appeared in court on fraud charges, according to KZN police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda.

Njilo appeared before the Port Shepstone Magistrates Court and will remain behind bars until April 28, confirmed Col Nitshiunda.

Njilo is also a son to former Mayor of Msunduzi Municipality Themba Njilo.

This perhaps put to bed rumours that Faith was unfaithful to hubby and were splitting and allegedly seeing rapper Da Les, unless the saying that ‘were there is fire, there’s a smoke’ stands!

Before I could approach Nzuzo for a comment, they quietly left the eatery- sans bodyguards et al.
