For the very first time ever, Joyous Celebration will be in Kimberley

This is the 16th edition of the nationally and internationally famed Gospel Project, Joyous Celebration.
Northern Cape residents are blessed to experience two-day spectacular performance, especially to ensure that every fan of this magnificent group gets an opportunity to experience the event.

The exhilarating performance themed ‘Praise & Worship’ will require those attending to make sure they gather enough energy to experience the music and performance by this magnificent group.

Joyous Celebration is an internationally recognised Gospel music show-piece initiated by Lindelani Mkhize, Mthunzi Namba and Jabu Hlongwane.

The group performs soulful music that revives the soul, offering patrons an opportunity to connect spiritually in song and dance, amongst others.
The shows promises to be the best the fans will experience, especially given the design layout of the Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre, offering comfortable seating, accoustics and enough space for patrons to dance till their feet can’t take it anymore!

The ambience created by the stage and set design will add special flavour to atmosphere and spirit of peace that will prevail when people connect.

Mittah Seperepere Convention Centre is fast becoming popular with the Northern Cape communities, and the opportunity to host an event and project that involves an international production of this magnitude, affords the venue to test its capacity and to welcome more people to experience the new facility in the Province.

Producer and conductor Lindelani Mkhize is elated at the opportunity to visit the Province eventually and ensure that their fans experience this dynamic and explosive version of Joyous Celebration.

“We owe it to our loyal fans and the citizens of the Northern Cape to perform for them. It’s gratifying to know that all our fans, the various churches and community members have consistently been enquiring about our visit to the Province,  the moment for Kimberley to ‘Sparkle like its Diamonds’ has arrived”, says the elated pint-sized Mkhize.

“August is a Women’s Month, it is befitting for Joyous Celebration to visit the Province at this period we know that their music resonates well with Women’s Days conversations about their triumphs and tribulations, noting that the music always leaves a soothing feeling for the soul and mind,” says Project Co-ordinators.
Gospel music holds a special place in the hearts of many Gospel lovers, and women have a special connection with this type of music, noting that they always take the leading role in singing.

It will be a special show dedicated to bring women together!

On the Community Empowerment front, the Project Co-ordinators also pointed out that, they would also like to take this opportunity to inform aspirant Gospel singers that plans are underway to hold auditions on Friday morning (17 August 2012) at the Mayibuye Centre, Galeshewe, where potential talent will be scouted for recommendation to future Gospel projects.
