Family sport. World’s famous basketball exhibitors Globetrotters return to SA for a three-legged World 2015 Tour exhibition.

This world celebrated premiere basketball team is returning to mzansi to put on their most outrageous exhibition yet, after two decades.

Our first democratically elected President Dr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, was an honorary Globetrotter and the last time the team played in South Africa was for his birthday.

The exhibition basketball squad is one of the world’s most loved sports teams, bringing a unique blend of athleticism and theatre to the center court; that has an appeal to both young and old across all races.

It was founded in 1926 as the ‘Savoy Big Five’.

Come see down shots, trick shots and passes plus unbelievable slam dunks and three pointers hurled from the opposite side of the court. Aha…

They have visited over 120 countries across the world thrilling crowds with their shows. The Harlem Globetrotters will be visiting South Africa during their 2015 World Tour.

This is also perfect for learners since it will happen during school holidays in July.
