The lucky recipient will present the popular MTN SAMA Record of the Year category, which is decided solely by the public through sms votes. Sms vote line open to the public from tomorrow.
This was revealed by Randall Abrahams CE of the SAMAs, the organizers of the much awaited 18TH MTN/SAMA to be held from April 29 to 30 at SA’s favourite playground Sun-City, its original home.
Tomorrow 18 nominees-and not amachancers- will be made public to begin what would be an arduous task for judges.
Unsurprisingly so, the most hotly contested categories labeled “big five” by music critics features Album of the Year, Duo or Group of the Year, Female Artist of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Newcomer of the Year.
Do we know who would that be? Your guess is just good as mine!
