Its World Cancer Awareness Day globally!

In South Africa, breast cancer survivors head for Nepal -Everest Base Camp this April, comprising eight women who have already conquered a momentous challenge after a gruelling trek to Everest Base Camp.

The women are all part of the Breast Health Foundation/Streetschool Development Journey’s project called EBC 2016: One Step at a Time.

Ntokozo Dludla, Nqobile Mazibuko, Professor Elna McIntosh, Soso Thamae, Vanessa Tetlow, Refilwe Sedumedi, Louise Turner, and Henrietta van Kramberg want to raise awareness amongst South African women from all walks of life and all income streams, because of the far-reaching impact of educating matriarchs.

breast survivorsThis is to highlight their journeys with breast cancer ‘One Step at a Time”. Once diagnosed our lives became one day at a time, one step at a time.

Ultimately we will concur all lifes challenges “one step at a time”.
