We thought it befitting to bring you the finest female comedians dishing out the
funniest gags on this Freedom Day. Judy Jake, Hilda Sethosa, Khanyisa Bunu, Celeste
Ntuli and Nina Hastie, the best of South Africa’s female stand-up comedy talent,
guarantee to have you in stitches!
The host of the Just Nje Comedy Nights, Kedibone Mulaudzi, is just what the doctor
ordered. Having shared the stage with the likes of Chris Rock and being the regular
host of the weekly Soweto Premium Comedy Nights, and the Tshwane Comedy Nights, he
is without any doubt the right clown to host Just Nje at Promusica.
But that is not all: to ensure comedy longevity at Joburg Promusica Theatre, the
search is on for aspiring comedians in and around the West Rand who are interested
in attending stand-up comedy classes and workshops and eventually be part of the
Just Nje Comedy Nights. Workshops will take place in Cartonville, Mohlakeng, Kagiso,
Elandsdrift, Krugersdorp, Randfontein and Roodepoort throughout the year, for info
