Any movement is associated with the legendary Johnnie Walker Black whisky and recently the quintessential brand hosted its Black #JWCodeBlack lifestyle pop up-bar at the bustling Keyes Art Mile-Rosebank.
The code: a pop up-bar that affords great evening of socializing with people that are constantly striving for excellence!
An invitation ‘ordered’ guests to dress in black and gold- so to speak- as host and award winning illustrator, Karabo Poppy gave the Johnnie Walker consumer an inspiring, personal progress along the way.
Yes, she had a glass and so did media, whiskey connoisseurs, influencers and personalities who did justice.
She pushed the limits and beautifully epitomized key brand characteristics being: Pioneering (how she’s pushed boundaries, remained determined and took risks in her personal journey), Optimistic (what keeps her walking moving forward despite obstacles) and Stylish (Her personal style sense).
The vision was to bring to life her story of personal progress through an illustrative piece on Johnnie Walker’s symbol of progress – The Striding Man (erected outside the building).
The pop-up bar is dedicated to giving whiskey connoisseurs an experience of the many ways one can enjoy JWB whether neat, with a mixer, or in a cocktail for those who prefer their drinks with a bit of sexiness.
Due to its popularity and being sold out, the pop up-bar that has been running since June 14 will run until July 5 2018 every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4pm to 11pm.
