This follows the incident that both sisters assaulted the wife of Orlando Pirates goalkeeper Senzo Meyiwa.
The incident happened in August but they handed themselves over to the police on Tuesday.
The sisters were arrested at the Hillbrow police station.
“I can confirm that she has been arrested but I do not have details,” said Warrant Officer Richard Munyai.
On Tuesday night, police spokesman Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the sisters had applied for bail and so they didn’t have to spend a night in the cells.
He said the pair were due to appear in the Hillbrow Magistrate’s Court this morning on a charge of assault.
