In partnership with sister radio stations and SABC1, it will host the Metro FM Walk for Freedom from 06h00 until 11h00 using its campaign line ‘Youth Power’.
Since the re-appointment of Mfundo Ntsibande, marketing manager at Ligwalagwala FM, there have been activations and turn around strategies recently.
Artists performing include Namia Kay, DJ Voodoo, Ntsiki Mazwai, KO-Caracara, Euphonic, Lulo Café, Madumane, Shabbisto and The Prince.
A cash donation will be made to Naledi High as part of giving back to the community of Soweto by the station.
According to Ntsibande, only 700 tickets will be made available FREE to the lucky winners.
