Makola to Bucs is what Messi is to Barca!

The Bucs player converted a beauty to win the Nelson Mandela Challenge for SA against their opponents on Tuesday night.

Now, the player has promised to carry the same mentality and drive for his club as they face Zamalek on Sunday in Cairo for the CAF championship battle.

Mpho, as he’s name suggest a ‘gift’ recently got a bubbly boy on Monday and scored his debut goal for Bafana on Tuesday. A gift indeed!

Pirates and Zamalek have both qualified for the semi-finals. Level on 12 points in Group B, the Buccaneers want to win in Cairo to top the group, securing the advantage of an away match first in the two-legged semis.

Pirates’ experienced core has learnt the art of grinding out a result in tough conditions on their African expeditions.

On top of his game. Mpho Makola, scored on his debut against Senegal to clinch the Mandela Challenge. He will carry the same attitude as Bucs face Zamalek on Sunday for the CAF champ battle.

As for Makola, who is a regular goal-banger at his club this couldn’t come at a better time than this.
