She replaces Tamar Braxton, who was withdrawn due to ill-health.
In a media release the organisers “apologise for any disappointment caused but further stated, they hope Tamar’s fans will recognise the importance of giving her the space and time to full health”.
According to BET & Glen 21, they’re happy to make refunds as result of the changes, should the need arise.
The BET Africa Experience features Mary J Blige, Maxwell, Raphael Saadiq, Young Thug, AKA, Flavour, Diamond Platnumz, Nathi, Black Motion, DJ Euphonik and Monique Bingham, alongside multiple elements including Genius Talks, sport, fashion, extreme driving and much, much more.
The flmaboyant minister of Sport Fikile Mbalula has been scheduled to attend.
It takes place from December 12 at Ticket Pro Dome -from morning until wee hours of the following morning.
