Mayambela will be a thorn in Bucs defence!

Mark Mayambela of Chippa United will once again be a thorn in Bucs defence. They meet in the PSL match at Orlando Stadium tonight.

Yes, he might not be fit enough to play 90minutes as was evident against Kaizer Chiefs in the PSL clash, but the boy is a wonder to watch.

In tonight’s league battle Mayambela’s side face former employer Orlando Pirates.

Venue: Orlando Stadium. Kick-off: 7:30.

Since joining Chippa United- as a lifeline this season- “Prof” as he’s known to his fans, has been the talking point in the midfield of the park.

The gifted left footed player charges at defenders, controls the balls exceptionally well and takes control of the game. He reminds us of his heydays at Pirates and Celtic’s.

We hope the gamble took by the club’s chairman Chippa Mpengesi won’t be a temporary one, owing to the players’ way-way behavior.

Talking to this reporter this year in Durban, he says “I’m fit and ready to offer what I know best: play soccer since age is also catching up”.

Sea Robbers are also not performing well in the domestic league either. They lost valuable points against SuperSport last week in a replay match.

Despite displaying a brilliant performance win against CS SFaxien, Bucs must begin collecting points domestically.

Yes, Mark we might not forget about your expensive under-wears confiscated by umashonisa but on the field we all love you, don’t we?
