THE CITY OF Joburg will hold its State of the City Address (SOCA) on Thursday.
Mayor Dr Mpho Phalatse will deliver her maiden speech as a leader of the Multi-Party Coalition.
It has been scheduled for April 21 at the Connie Bapela Council Chamber, Metro Centre, in Braamfontein.
SOCA is a platform to give overarching position of the City as well as to outline plans, programmes and priorities of the City to improve service delivery to residents and various stakeholders.
There will be strict adherence to all Covid-19 protocols.
It will be live streamed on the City’s social media platforms such as twitter: @CityofjoburgZA or @CoJSpeaker and Facebook: Cityofjoburg, for road closures and alternative routes to be used by the public.
