The doctor treating the toddler was amazed that he had not suffered any broken bones or fractures.
“Maybe there was a guardian angel that was protecting him. He did not have broken bones, ribs, limbs or any fractures. We kept him overnight just to make sure we did not miss anything. But the following day we still didn’t find anything wrong with him and discharged him,” the doctor told The Star newspaper.
“That was one miraculous escape. When we examined him he did not even look traumatised or shaken by what had just happened to him.”
“Others don’t even get to be treated in hospital because they die almost immediately. That’s how serious falling from heights is,” the doctor further explained.
It is not clear how the toddler fell from the apartment.
