Motorists woke up to bad news: fuel hike!

As of Wednesday, the petrol price will be close to R11 in certain areas and over R11 in others.

The increase comes after a recent decrease in fuel prices as the global oil price plummeted.

Towards the end of January coastal users were paying R9.85 per litre for 95 petrol, while inland users paid R10.09.

With electricity hike on the cards in April, tough economic times are going to be felt by all; as outlined by the minister of Finance Nhlanhla Nene, during his first Budget Address in Parliament.

At the time of publishing, BPSA had not made a comment.

Yes, it’s time to tighten our belts once again..
