My craft work is being recognised says S’java on Video of the Year category

More nominations. S’java’s Uthando video included in the SAMAs Best Music Video of the Year category. 

This was confirmed by the organisers of the South African Music Awards, Risa.

“Look, I’m happy with the nomination. It’s a good thing and that shows we’re doing great work with my team,” says the elated Ekseni fame star S’java.

Secondly, this improves my nominees in categories.

This goes on to show artistically I’m improving my craft work. People should not be gaga over graphics and all that. Its’ all about quality content, nje.”

Look, there are things I’m personally unhappy with on the awards, but hey, who am I to judge or complain as long as I keep improving my craft work,” he said without revealing much.

Emtees videos Good Girls and Don’t Do It, were questioned following nominations announcement, with fans pointing out that the videos were not aired on national television before January 31, as per the competitions rules.

As a result, the videos were withdrawn.

Foul has been punted about by the Mabala Noise- a recording company for Emtee.

Other contenders for the category feature Miss Pru (Ameni) and Reason featuring AKA and Khuli Chana (Yipikayay).

The 23rd SAMAs take place at Sun City on May 27.
