On point. The newly appointed BSA boss Tsholofelo Lejaka will bring stability into boxing.

Lejaka who used to be the sport director in the national department of sport, will enforce the law and regulations of boxing, that is finding its feet after some controversies that has engulfed this sport.

Moffat Qithi, former CE was fired for controversial reasons by the BSA board.

The cool and street-smart Lejaka, has been appointed alongside new Chief Financial Officer Thabang Moses and Director of Operations Sabelo Silinga by the minister of sport Fikile Mbalula.

Mbalula has blamed weak leadership for the problems that BSA has had in the past and says that the appointment of Lejaka should deal with these elements that continue to derail the progress of boxing.

“Mbaks” also indicated that they will allocate R7million for the establishment of the South African National Amateur Boxing Organization’s (SANABO) new Open Boxing League that is aimed at fast-tracking the development of boxers.

Having interacted with the genius Tsholo on numerous occasions; he will certainly bring stability and sponsors to the table.

Welcome Tsholo and other new members…
