THE controversial National Health Insurance Bill will be signed by
President Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa.
Although unwelcomed by certain healthcare professionals and political
parties, many agree it will be feasible and its a progressive move that
will transform the healthcare system.
Some are citing it will see an exodus of health practitioners.
The legislation provides a framework for the provision of universal care
through a state-run fund.
Many have also questioned the timing of the signing of the Bill, with
national elections only two weeks.
DA believes this is another form to loot the public coffers.
