She overcame other 19 contestants to clinch the title previously held by Buhle Xulu.
The 21 year old is currently studying for towards a degree in Marketing & Communications.
The title would help her start her “own foundation called ‘Rough Diamonds’, which will focus on encouraging young girls from Soweto to chase after their dreams and empower them to be the best versions of themselves”.
The Protea Glen born received the grand cash prize of R50 000 and an opportunity to represent White Star as brand ambassador.
Second and third Princesses went to Kamogelo Kodisang from Orlando West-Mzimhlophe and Nokukhanya Kunene from Emdeni, respectively.
Miss Soweto pageant founder and director, ubaba Leonard Sithole, was honoured by White Star with a “Lifetime Achievement” award.
The American born but SA based Monique Bingham, gave a thumping performance to wrap up the evening, held at the Soweto Theatre, Jabulane.
