Please release the players Mshege tells clubs!

The 23 locally based team meet the Ivorians at Mbombela Stadium, Sunday November 30.

Mashaba says the selection of local based players affords him and the technical team to test the “untested players and see what they can offer”.

“My message to the selected players is, show me what you have and possibly you might be recalled for future games,” says the jovial coach.

“Mshege” also made a passionate plea to PLS clubs to release players following unconfirmed reports that, due to Telkom Cup this week and backlogged PSL games, clubs were not prepared to release players’.

Only domestic players will be selected since the game falls outside FIFA dates.

Mashaba has requested three friendly games ahead of 2015 Afcon Finals in Equatorial Guinea.

Bafana made history by not losing any of their qualifying games; thus topping the group.

At the time of publishing Ivory Coast, had not confirmed if they’d brought their big guns.

The gate takings will be channeled into the coffers of Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital to be built in 2015.
