Randshow gives last action packed weekend as it winds down!

It shuts down on 28 April.

There are daily snake and reptile displays in the Animal Kingdom, and the Free Flight Bird Show every day, while the sheepdogs will be showing the flock who’s boss in daily working-dog demonstrations.

Bring the kids for the gymnastics-inspired Tumble Mania play experience and play and colour with Ronald McDonald and Marlin Kids in the Kids Zone.

The SA Chefs Theatre has a full plate of culinary delights to serve up to visitors, with cooking and baking demonstrations every hour on the hour from eleven each morning.

At the Extreme Zone drifting track, get ready for the XDL SA Street Jam, a streetbike stunt show that showcases one of the world’s biggest breakout extreme sports. See some of the top XDL SA streetbike stunt-riders competing for glory in head-to-head battles, testing their skills in wheelies and burnouts.

There’s a world of snow in Hall 8, where visitors can experience the exhilaration of a ride on Africa’s longest solid-ice toboggan slide.

There’s also a six-metre-high snow ramp to snowtube down, and a snow play-area and snowball alley.

Outside, make the most of the last of the warm days at the KwaZulu-Natal Beach Extravaganza’s 3 500 m2 beach, complete with sand, beach umbrellas and beach entertainment activities.

The SANDF has a magnificent offering lined up for Rand Show visitors this year, with static exhibits of everything from  fleets of military vehicles, tanks, air traffic control towers and missile  simulators, to signalling equipment, dive tanks, and tracking and survival  demonstrations.

There are also hundreds of exhibitors bringing you great shopping opportunities, from furniture, carpets, cookware, perfume,  health and beauty products, and toys, sweets and novelties for the kids, to  outdoor aluminium furniture, caravans, pools and spas, and fireplaces.

The Showtime Stage will host some great local music acts, including Dr Victor, Denim, Swing City, Madison Band, Ghapi, and Boki of Idols SA.

Naas Botha and Ashwin Willemse will be coming through to talk rugby before watching the Bulls/Force match on the big screens with Rand Show rugby fans.

The Rand Show… truly a great day out for the whole family!

Tickets are still available.
