According to the press statement, the GALAXY S III mini brings the high performance, intuitive ease-of-use and nature-inspired design of the GALAXY S III to an elegant, compact smartphone with a 4.0-inch screen.
However, potential buyers should take note that the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini is not simply a smaller version of the popular Samsung Galaxy S3.
Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini 8GB retails for R4,599 and Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini 16GB for R4,999.
As the pricing might indicate, the smaller smartphone packs hardware that is far less powerful than its bigger brother.
“The GALAXY S III introduced a new concept of smartphone that has proven hugely popular around the world. We’re now delighted to bring its revolutionary design, intuitive usability and intelligence of the GALAXY S III, in a more compact form,” says Craige Fleischer.

“There is no doubt that a phone that features the very best in technology innovation, yet comes in different form factor is what the market expects from the leading consumer electronics brand and we are confident that we will see a solid uptake of this product in the local market,” says Fleischer.
It has all functionalities, features, and specifications you can think of. No, don’t get rid of your Galaxy S III as yet!
