It kicks-off from May 3 to 5 in Soweto and Westrand, respectively.
Now entering its third edition, the concert has been identified to enscapsulate the synergy amongst communities in Bekkersdal, Westonaria, and other neighbouring areas.
It is the brainchild of Reggie ‘Govenor’ Nkabinde, an astute businessman and motivator who is the founder of Molite Productions who hails from the area.
According to Govenor, it is not all about fun but also giving back to the community.
“The Remember Your Roots Benefit Concert will encourage the youth and old to adopt the culture of ‘I live within a community and without others I’m nothing’, so that they can be the change they want to see.
It is also dedicated to promoting equality, social justice and encouraging a broader understanding of culture across our community for the benefit for all.”
“Over the past three years we have worked with diverse organizations that have benefitted from this initiative, ” says Govenor.
