SAFA to face music. Question is who will dance to it?

 

Amongst thorny issues to be tabled are the amateur soccer administrations, Bafana’s failure to qualify for AFCON 2012 and, culprits who must face the music for relaying wrong information with regard to the rules and regulations on qualifying for AFCON.  

The irritated Minister has engaged with South African Sports Confederation and Olympic to launch investigation into SAFA, of which SAFA chief executive Robin Petersen has refuted on numerous occasions.

The meeting would also bring forward the preparations on the forthcoming 2013 AFCON tournament which SA is hosting; World Cup legacy trust fund, and under 23s not qualifying for London 2012 Olympics, amongst others.

According to sources close to meeting, heads could roll as soon as possible.

The SACOC committee will be led by Mubarak Mahomed who is not popular with SAFA.
