SAPS to receive hand sanitisers from Avon Justine

The hand sanitizers will be handed over to senior officials of the SAPS and the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation for distribution among the law enforcement officials.

“We are delighted for this kind gesture which will go a long way to help in bolstering our defences against this pandemic. Our members are exposed to this pandemic daily, risking life and limb in the exercise of their duties.

These hand sanitizers will give police officials the peace of mind in the full knowledge that they have the proven and effective defence against coronavirus,” says Col Katlego Mogale

This is part of the global beauty and personal care’s continual support to the public and frontline workers as we face the unfortunate pandemic worldwide, following million of rands and other supplies donated last month to fight the Covid-19.

“We are pleased and grateful that the SAPS and the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation have given us the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the fight against Covid-19. We are aware that the need for these critical supplies is becoming greater as the rate of infections continue, however, we hope that the distribution of these products will be biased in favour of hotspots where the infection rates are worryingly high,” says Mafahle Mareletse, Avon Justine Managing Director for Turkey, Middle East and Africa.

“Our law enforcement officials are the unsung heroes and heroines who are putting their lives on the line to protect us against this invisible enemy. As a socially responsible and caring corporate citizen, we are acutely conscious that the fight against Covid-19 is not the responsibility of any single entity or government department. It requires all of us to put our shoulders to the wheel and do whatever we can to help in the relief efforts,” says Mareletse.

So, as from today onwards expect every Police official to carry a sanitiser- No EXCUSES…or kanjani?
