Recently, she unveiled her new series Siba’s Table Fast Feasts to feature on channel Food Network, to the press.
The series was filmed in our beautiful, scenery country of ours for weeks, showcasing five fast and fabulous feasts prepared by Siba-licious.
In each show she shows how to create a show stopping quick meal.
According to Siba, people don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen and with load-shedding becoming a thorny issue; this would help to create clever cheats and shortcuts.
Says former food editor:”I love preparing and coming-up with new recipes for my family. This project is part of me sharing what I’ve been investigating for weeks with my viewers.”
Talk of sharing, Siba says her mother did not share thoughts of her becoming a Chef, apart from the father who supported her.
“Believe it or not, my mom was against the idea,” says a wife and mother of two-boys.
As we made damage to a plate after another, with the scorching sun and mellow wines- Siba and crew displayed her Siba-licious meals that had the oohs and aahs from the salivating members of the press, ‘that’s the point’ she reassures, cheekishly.
Chefs are stingy with their recipes but I will share with you mine, says the Mdantsane born, who has travelled world over.
