Simba shows-off its three flaming hot flavours for the market

AWARD winning comedian Mpho Popps has this nerve of breaking the ice, easily.

He does this with zest, littered with funny punches accompanied by hilarious laugh(ter), that’s his craft after-all.

The unassuming Popps was the MC at the Simba Flamin’ Hot Chakalaka, Doritos Flamin’ Hot Masala and NikNaks Flamin’ Hot Chilli- PepsiCo SA launch, at the leafy suburbs of Jozi- Houghton.

The three-spicy flavours awaken your taste buds and takes you on an exciting experience, as per the famous TV ad.

Giulia Iorio-Ndlovu, Senior Marketing Director, Snacks of PepsiCo South Africa says, “The new Flamin’ Hot range encapsulates the existing deep love that consumers have for hot and spicy flavours, which awaken their taste buds and take them on an exciting flavour experience.

Our flavours are rooted in cultural influences, pivoting legacy favourites amongst South Africans; Chakalaka, Masala and the classic Chilli, into enjoyable snacks.”

This is part of the company’s expanded ‘hottest snacks’ portfolio.

To celebrate and engage consumers on the Flamin’ Hot Rangecampaign was rolled out driving a simple flavour message through “Unleash Your Heat” tag line, across key and relevant consumer touch points.

Various influencers, DJs, media and artists came in large numbers to experience the ‘hot flavours’ engagement, as they indulged in game playing throughout the evening; jacaranda trees sparkling and birds never stopped whistling; and peeping neighbours wondering how they did not crack an invite…?

The flavours are available at all leading stores nationally.
