This follows breaking news of the death of former and first democratic State President Dr Nelson Mandela last night.
“I’ve spoken to the CEO of the Premier Soccer League (Brand de Villiers) this morning and he will speak to the chairman (of the PSL Irvin Khoza),” general manager of football Derek Blanckensee said on Friday.
“At the moment we don’t know if the game will go ahead. Nothing has changed yet, but we are waiting for direction.”
The finals are scheduled for Mbombela Stadium, Nelspruit on Saturday.
