“WE’RE GOING to miss her infectious smile,” says Mo-Flava.
The celebrated DJ and Metro FM morning show host Mo-Flava was referring to her colleague and friend, Pearl Shongwe, who passed on this week.
The course of her death still remains a mystery.
She was found dead in her Waterfall apartment, Midrand on Tuesday.
Messages of condolences were still coming in from colleagues, friends, influential figures and the public at large.
“She enjoyed and loved life. She was a peoples’ person and her wittiness will be missed,” continued Mo, who on Thursday went to the family in Diepkloof, Soweto to send their heartfelt condolences.
The bubbly Pearl was a news anchor on Metro FM, and also a sports host on the SABC’s Sports Live at weekends. She also held her own on TBo-Touch’s afternoon drive show.
She was 35.
At the time of publishing details on memorial and funeral services were not confirmed.
