Launched recently, Founders Reserve pays tribute to Founder George Smith’s original vision to create the definitive smooth Speyside single malt.

The collab that speaks two minds. Ray “Chikapa” Phiri shared the stage with Mi Casa at The Glenlivet-Founders Reserve launch at Rosebank.

Amidst the sought after performances by Ray “Chikapa” Phiri (albeit didn’t perform all his hits) and award winning trio MiCasa, the launch held at the swanky Katzy’s in Rosebank, brought the venue on fire, as glasses never went dry and the evening adorned with musicians, actors, celebs, soccer players, et al.

Borrowing a moment with “Chikapa” after his first collab with Mi Casa, the legend said “they enjoyed a first tasting of Founder’s Reserve – an expression that perfectly suits the lifestyle of ambitious men with discerning style and taste”.

The Glenlivet brand manager, Eugene Lenford, explains, “With Founder’s Reserve we pay tribute to George Smith, who created the Original Single Malt that has set the standard in taste and quality since 1824.

It brings it all back to the Original. With the global move away from aged whiskies, we believe the time is right to introduce an unaged entry-level single malt whisky that will capture the palate of discerning men who love fine whisky.”

Synonymous for being out of the league for the lesser mortals, however, this latest The Glenlivet-Founders Reserve is available at a lesser price range at retail shops. Aha…
