“We believe we have a very strong Top 12, a group of young women who are passionate about competing and who have the intelligence and dedication to be a winner. The judges had a difficult task choosing the 12 from the 33 semi-finalists, but I am confident that the eventual winner will prove a powerful ambassador for the Miss South Africa brand,” Alison McKie, of Sun International, said.
Miss South Africa 2010 Bokang Montjane had these words of wisdom to share with the ladies: “If you are born to be Miss SA it will happen, God has already decided, you just need to give your best.”
“Have fun on the night and don’t think that the winner has been selected; you can still change it on the final night.”
“Do your best and the rest will fall into place”.
DJ Black Coffee had to resign from the judging panel following reports that his wife is related to one of the contestants.
The ‘Road to Miss South Africa’ will be screened on Sundays on Mzansi Magic (DStv Channel 161) at 5:30.
