Travis, Tiller SA bound for the Castle Lite experience fest!

Both make their maiden appearances in South Africa.

For the very first time Polokwane will host the first leg (June 15) followed by Jozi on the 16.

At the announcement venue resplendent in man-made snow, artists and celebrities came in droves only to quench their thirst with the only beer in the evening: Cold Castle Lite-phew!

Host. Bubbly Nomusi Mabena was the MC at the media launch of Castle Lite Extra experience.

Over the last few years Castle Lite has been at the fore-front of progressively bringing award-winning international artists to SA.

To the satisfaction of consumers, the Castle Lite Unlocks Concerts have always been a climax of gripping Extra Cold performances, unlocking sheer thrill and it will be no different this time around; seeing an epic international double-impact production.

Born Jacques Webster Jr- rapper, producer Travis Scott, this week released his new video ‘Goosebumps’ featuring Kendrick Lamar and the single went platinum.

In April 2013, it was announced he signed with TI’s grand hustle imprint. He released his first full-length project, a mixtape titled Owl Pharaoh in May 2013. He then released his second mixtape Days before Rodeo in August 2014.

His debut album Rodeo, was released on September 4, 2015. His sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight was released on September 2, 2016.

So expect a mother of a show!

The first leg is scheduled for Polokwane (Cricket Club stadium) on June 15 and Johannesburg 16 at Ticket Pro Dome, Fourways.

Asked what prompted the decision to rope in Polokwane, the PR agency responded that, as many would be aware that concerts only end up either in Jozi, Durban or Cape Town, this was an effort to surprise fans in Limpopo and give them an unforgettable experience.

Becky Opdyke, Castle Lite General Manager noted: “After the success of J Cole’s landing last year, this year’s concert promises to be bigger, better & colder than ever. Citizen Of Extra Cold have been heard and we’ve been hard at work to ensure that South Africans have an extraordinary Castle Lite experience!

SA bound. Travis Scott will make his maiden appearance in mzansi alongside Bryson Tiller for the Castle Lite Extra Experience-Unlock Cold festivals in Polokwane and Joburg, respectively.

We’re really excited to be having Bryson Tiller and Travis Scott, it’s gonna be incredible for them to perform for the very first time in South Africa.”

At the time of publishing it was not confirmed which local artists will share the stage with international stars.

Tickets for Polokwane R390 Golden Circle and General Access R190

Joburg R490 for Golden Circle and R250 for General Access.
