AmaKhosi who are still topping the log, will fight tooth and nail to cement that position, following Sundowns 2-1win against Free State Stars, last night. Stars are relegation bound.
Chiefs are in pole position to defend their Absa Premiership title, but the Urban Warriors have a history of running them close.
But tonight this could again change as Uban Warriors under the tutelage of former Bucs mentor Rogerio De Sa, are no pushovers and Chiefs are wary of that aspect.
With only 8 games to go before the season wraps, Chiefs will want nothing but a win to keep the momentum and pray that Downs’ lose points in their next game.
Meanwhile, the 2014 edition of the Metropolitan Premier Cup was launched at the Cape Town Civic Centre last night.
