According to Sowetanlive, the vehicle hit a cement block, then an electricity pole and ended up on its roof – in a water puddle near Buffalo City Metro store in Chiselhurst, Eastern Cape.
Although at first it was unclear who was driving, her manager Thembinkosi Nciza known as TK, confirmed Zahara was driving it.
It is alleged that Zahara and her passengers might have been intoxicated at the time, as empty liquor bottles were found inside and near the vehicle, according to Sowetanlive.
Cambridge police spokesman Captain Mluleki Mbi confirmed the accident but said Zahara was not driving.
“According to information given to officers at the scene, the driver of the vehicle was someone else.
“The case opened was that of malicious damage to property after the vehicle damaged an electricity pole,” said Mbi.
Unavailable for comment, Zahara got her license last year.
