Zola7 steal the show at Hunter’s Refresh Experience

LOYAL fans of legendary Zola7 go-gaga at his recent performance.

Albeit he made an appearance as guest artist- the Zola (Soweto) born Bonginkosi Dlamini, at the Hunter’s Cider refreshing summer limited cans show in the heart of Jozi, the experience was unthinkable.

For the uninitiated- Zola 7’s Ghetto Fabulous, titled Change Process is remixed by upcoming Ch’cco and Boohle has gone for Boom Shaka’s It’s About Time, accompanied by a strong 20- piece orchestra.

Boohle and Ch’cco also feature on two limited edition 440ml cans that play the perfect soundtrack for Dezemba; with Boohle on the Hunter’s Gold can and Ch’cco on the Hunter’s Dry can.

Zola 7 did not disappoint on the evening as fans kept asking for more, and he did oblige- typical of him, as he gyrated and thumped the stage kuzekuse.

Not only did Boohle and Ch’cco illuminate the Hunter’s Refresh Experience in Johannesburg, Cape Town is next on December 22.

The performance of the likes of on rotation DJ’s Mörda, KMat, Kyeezi, Le Soul, was thirst quenching.

Joined on the stage by Zola7, Ch’cco also shared his excitement for the upcoming Cape Town leg that: “What a dream come true, performing my refreshed song, Change Process, with the O.G. Zola! Man, that was crazy – Dezemba is definitely off to a refreshing start with Hunter’s Cider! Can’t wait to bring more surprises to life in Cape Town,” he said.

Boohle had this to say: “I love performing, and kicking off Dezemba with Hunter’s Cider was completely exhilarating with the orchestra! Jozi was lit and I’m super excited to bring the live rendition of my refreshed track, It’s About Time,” she quipped.

“A Refreshed Dezemba is here! Hunter’s Cider is thrilled to have successfully hosted the first of two, once-in-a-lifetime immersive experiences! Boohle and Ch’cco brought their refreshed hit singles to life alongside a 20-piece band and we can’t wait to bring more of the same energy to Cape Town on 22 December 2023,” commented Lynsay Sampson, Hunter’s Marketing Manager.

The Cape Town leg happens at Old Biscuit Mill. Tickets are sold.
