ANCYL firebrand suspended!

The ruling was handed down today at Luthuli House by the Disciplinary Committee of the ANC, spearheaded by Deputy Minister of Technology and Science Derek Hanekom.

He was charged for bringing the party into disrepute and sowing divisions within the party ranks.

Amongst other charges, which were later dropped and consequently apologised for, was barging into the ANC top honchos meeting and perpetuating that the Botswana Government should be defied.

The flambouyant Malema was not present when the judgement was handed down. It has been reliably learnt that he was writting exams at Unisa-Limpopo University today.

According to Hanekom, Malema has fourteen-days to appeal.

The loose-tongued Malema was charged alongside other 5 senior officials of the league.

Top senior ANC officials were present and handful of youths were chanting and singing outside Luthuli House.

Various aspersions have been cast that, the latest ‘political games’ would have effect on the forthcoming, ANC Elective Conference in Bloemfontein next year but that was quashed by top officials within the ANC.

What’s next for Malema remains to be seen and, whether his legal team will get directive to appeal.
