Another Zuma pockets R250 000

She pocketed a whooping R250 000 cash prize at the ceremony held at MonteCasino, on weekend.

Err, is she related to ubaba ka Duduzani?

The overwhelmed Pretty says, the competition was tough as it brought able contenders from all over the country; and the fact that she bagged the honours means her work has been recognized in the country.

She plans to invest the loot and grow the business to other regions.

The HairXperts Masters Challenge Grand Finale 2019 was all about celebrating and embracing the freedom to create, the evolution of style and ‘pushi’style‘ to signify the ever-changing skills and creativity in the hair industry.

Finalists had to match up with these themes and only one came on top as the winner- whose theme for the evening was ‘HairVolution’.

Jesse Gallant from Eastern Cape was punted as the YoungXperts winner taking R30 000; John Mongaguzi from Mowbray was awarded the R30 000 Viewer’s Choice Award and Lefa Moshoalibe from Bethlehem scooped R30 000 as the Technical Excellence Award for 2019.

The Sofn’free HairXperts Masters Challenge, celebrated its fourth edition, is open to all stylists countrywide.

The packed auditorium had the likes of award winners S’java and ‘Mufasa’ (Cassper Nyovest) as entertainers, so did SAs’ socialite Somizi “So-Mgaga” Mhlongo.
