CTIJF is beckoning

This was confirmed by the CE at Tourism Cape Town, Cheryl Mulder-Verbruggen, after huge international visitors showed interest in attending the two-day jazz festival.

She confirmed exclusively to our online, during the Meetings Africa lekgotla held recently in Sandton, that the bookings have hit the ceiling and demand was too high to contemplate.

“Cape Town has definitely put SA on the map when coming to both Continental and overseas visitors, and events such as the CTIJF has become the economic melting pot for entertainment, business and love,” she confided boisterously.

Meanwhile, due to public demand and various requests JB Train Tours have arranged another two luxury buses to take jazz lovers from Pretoria and Johannesburg to the 2012 Cape Town Jazz Festival.

Both the company’s two train tours as well as the flight package have been sold out in quick time, and this was also reiterated by Prasa spokesperson Lilian Mofokeng.

The luxury coaches depart on Thursday 29th March 2012 from Pretoria and will arrive back on Monday morning 2nd April 2012.

The tour price for this 5-day package is R3600 per person and includes the return trip by luxury coach, hotel accommodation in Cape Town, meals, and two-day entry ticket.
