Durban to host MTN8 finale!

The MTN8 finals between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates will be held in Durban, Moses Mabhida Stadium.

This was confirmed by Premier Soccer League, today.

Following weeks of anticipation and jittery from concerned fans surrounding the secrecy on the game, PSL has decided on the venue.

Some were even pointing the direction of FNB Stadium, which has the huge capacity to host the magnitude of such games.

According to PSL, the game will kick-off in the evening 20:15.

PSL CEO, Brand de Villiers said: “We are excited to announce that the MTN8 final will be hosted by Durban – a place that has proven to be a huge success for us in the last couple of years.”

“What I can say to the fans is that they must purchase their ticket soon. We know that the stadium can only take around 50 000 and, once we reach safety capacity, we will close the sale of tickets. ”

Tickets will be on sale from 13h00 at Computicket and Shoprite outlets at R80.

MTN has also announced that an R1m winner will be made at the game.
