Hail the Champs, once again!

Pirates’ stalwart Mme Moipone Moorosi, who was part of guests attending the game in Durban over the weekend joyfully, said she was now in position to “Rest in Peace”.

“We’ve made history and the team’s achievements cannot be over-emphasized. Having said that, I can now declare that I can ‘Rest in Peace’, “she exclaimed with tears of joy streaming down her chicks.

She continued: “Now our next assignment is conquering the African Champions League next season, and the chairman has also prioritized that.”

 He was joined in by another male fan who simply gave us his name as Zuki from Emadeni-KZN.

Lost for words and heavily excitement written all over his face, Zuki said the game against Arrows, almost caused him heart attack but had faith in his team that they will defend the league stylishly, he said.

Absa Sponsorship Manager, Steward Masela, said this was an epic battle considering that Moroka Swallows were also vying for the same title.

“What a photo-finish and this augurs well for us as sponsors,” he chirped in enthusiastically.

To celebrate their achievements the treble champs twice “Ghosts” will be embarking on Cup Parade throughout Gauteng beginning today.

Their first assignment is with the Johannesburg Executive Mayor Parks Tau and, proceed to MEC for Sport and Recreation Lebogang Maile at his offices.

Tomorrow they either invade Vaal or Tshwane before wrapping up on Thursday.
