The presenter who hosts both Ditlhaka Tsa Afrika on Sundays and Disaster on Thursday nights, failed to show up for the shows-not once but twice- according to management.
According to the person close to the management to augment his income he plays at a regular club on weekends.
As a result, he has been demoted to handle social programmes for the station.
Long standing station manager Mpho Mhlongo commented that: “We asked Prince to stand in for Tshepo, but there were problems when he had to report for duty. He wouldn’t come on Mondays, so we decided to take him off air. He wouldn’t even pitch on Sundays, so he was inconsistent.
He is now dealing with special projects. We want him to cool off and show remorse, then we’ll decide when he will be back on air.”
The pompous Tshabalala says: “I have nothing to say about what you’re asking me,” when asked on his demotion.
Lucky Sefatsa formerly with Ukhozi Fm has been roped in to host the breakfast show.
Meanwhile, Tshepo Machwisa passed on after being sick for a while. Macwisa has been with the station for years’ and his contribution will be felt by all, particularly his fans.
Mhlongo said the station is busy with funeral arrangements.
