VW VivoNation fest a hit with locals

But don’t despair ‘cos you can still get your hands on tickets for the Sunday 7 edition.

Thousands of fans have booked their place to be at this incredible festival of live music, with electrifying performances, delicious food and bespoke experiences, all brought to you by the Volkswagen Polo Vivo.

Hip-hop artist, AKA will headline both days, supported by the likes of Shane Eagle, Sho Madjozi, DJ Maphorisa, Busiswa, DJ Kent, Simmy, Rouge, Sjava, Mlindo The Vocalist and DJ Zan-D.

If you haven’t got your ticket yet, there are still limited tickets available for Sunday 7 April. Get yours now at www.vwvivonation.co.za.

In a bid to ensure the safety of VW VIVOnation’s 8 000 patrons this weekend, Volkswagen South Africa is offering festival goers the opportunity to win one of two weekends away in a Polo Vivo for two, just for catching the Park & Ride instead of driving – the Park & Ride ticket costs just R20.

Get there between 1pm and 3pm and stand a chance to win VIP upgrades, artist meet & greets and festival merchandise.

Fans will also get to enjoy exhilarating rides around the Vivo Autocross track and sing their hearts out to win a road trip in the Vivo Lip Sync competition.

A few firsts will include a Beach Bar, lifestyle pop-ups and a fresh selection of food and drinks stalls, including a shisa nyama.

Park & Ride: Tickets are available from www.vwvivonation.co.za. The safe and convenient shuttle service leaves from Newtown Junction (secure undercover parking) to and from The Container Yard, with shuttles operating every 30 minutes. The first shuttle from Newtown Junction is at 11:00 on both days. The last shuttle will operate for two hours after the end of the event. Look for the “Pick-up” and “Drop-off” signs.

Venue parking is extremely limited. Drive dry – don’t drink and drive.

Get in on the action and buy tickets now. Saturday tickets are sold out already! Buy tickets at www.vwvivonation.co.za for just R50 for Sunday 7 April – and your R50 ticket will be converted into a free R50 food and drink voucher upon arrival.
