‘Ditaola’ duo Black Motion promises fire at the MTN Bushfire

The jamboree identified as ‘top African festival’ courtesy of BBC- has been scheduled from May 24 to 26 at the House on Fire in the Malkerns Valley of eSwatini, home of the MTN Bushfire Festival.

Locals define it as more than a festival, it’s a living, breathing ecosystem deeply rooted in African soil, yet inclusive and welcoming to guests from all over the world.

The tagline “Bring Your Fire” is MTN Bushfire Festival’s call to action, a concept that encourages the proactive contribution of the individual. Your fire is your energy, your spirit, your passion and your drive to make a difference.

From SA big acts such as kwaito group Trompies, award winning Black Motion, Moonchild Sanelly, the legendary Tshepo “Village Pope” Tshola, and others promise to WoW fans, also being mindful of eco-system in Swaziland.

Nibs van Der Spuy, Meute (Dutch), Morena Leraba (Lesotho), Buddy Masango (SWZ), Asa (Nigeria), Maputo Electronic (Maputo), Maja and the Big Sky (Kenya) form part of huge line-up curated to enthral fans from all walks of life at the fest.

With signature all tickets ‘SOLD OUT’ keep popping on my laptop screen, the organisers have made a calling not to purchase any illegal tickets from unsuspecting public members.

From camping to glamping, the economic GDP of our neighbours will sky rocket, that would result in direct/indirect job creation for locals.

My traveling crew whispered in my ear they look forward unwinding with cold local beer Sibebe, upon arrival, driven courtesy of Isuzu MU-X.

For the uninitiated King Mswati was once misconstrued for having said men are allowed to ‘marry more than three/four wives’ but now that is not the case, it remains to be seen if the offer will be put to test though, just asking for a FRIEND?
