GRAMMY Award winner Zakes Bantwini joins wife as Mercedes Benz ambassador.
Bantwini who recently won the most prestigious award on earth, has been unveiled as the latest addition to the ‘Friends of the Brand program’ by Mercedes Benz SA.
He joins a list of top stars and musicians including wife Nandi Madida.
Zakes will enjoy the German made for the next 12 months- behind the technological powerhouse that is the AMG EQS 53, Mercedes-EQ’s flagship electric car offered locally.
On the partnership Zakes says: “Growing up in the ghetto, everyone dreams of one day driving a Mercedes-Benz. Every car that you drive along the way is just a steppingstone to one day having the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a Benz.

The deal comes as a comfort following the untimely death of Zakes father, recently.
