SOUTH AFRICAN vodka Russian Bear once again curates cool by bringing their exciting Shay’itafula tournament to Gauteng this June.
Following their trend of trailblazing Next Level Campaigns, award winning Russian Bear introduced Shay’itafula– a thrilling table soccer tournament; to Kwa-Zulu Natal sports fans which saw Pietermaritzburg Team, Dubazane win R50 000 in prize money at the KZN semi-final playoffs in April.
Shay’itafula – meaning hit the table in isiZulu; is Russian Bear’s table soccer tournament that will kick off ‘Another Level’ in Johannesburg, Gauteng for an action packed showdown.
Following Kwa-Zulu Natal’s epic playoffs, friends will come together to form a team of two, and participate in thrilling matches with other teams.
After a series of knockout rounds one team will be named Shay’itafula Gauteng winner, walk away with over R50 000 in cash and head to KZN for an explosive final against Dubazane.
In Russian Bear #OnAnotherLevel style, Shay’itafula first launched at Chris’s Tavern in Mega City, uMlazi.
After numerous games were played at various venues throughout the province, Russian Bear hosted KZN’s best teams at Sbu’s Lounge in Inanda, Durban; for an interactive semi-final playoff.
Sports fans which included musician Loki; Saso and Trey of rap duo DreamTeam; Gagasi FM DJ Heazi; and influencer Mandy Kheswa; all came out to play friendly games against each other and witness Dubazane’s playoff victory for the KZN prize.
