Mille kits our pride Bree Primary as they attempt to conquer Africa!

Speaking at the kit-handover today, the jubilant principal of the school Dave Kalicharan says they’re happy the boys have done it once again.

Our future stars. The Bree Primary School under 12s are ready to conquer Africa. They are part of the 31 teams from all over the world that will be competing for the Danone World Cup Finals in Morocco.

“It is all about hard work. The boys have done an amazing work and you only reap what you saw,” he boasted.

“Such tournaments prepares our boys for future Bafana set-up and that’ what we pride ourselves with.”
Wandile Ndebele (12) who plays as a right-wing says he looks forward meeting new friends but above all to bring back the Danone Cup home.

“Although we will be having fun and exchanging pleasantries with our rivals, our aim would be to bring back the Cup, though it’s going to be difficult. But with the right attitude we shall make it, again,” he reassured shyly.

Asked if none of the players’ will be affected by the school work while on tour, the principal assured that it is all system go as we’ve roped in parents to help were possible.

“I’ve personally made sure their school reports are in order and their marks are in good standing,” emphasized Kalicharan, who also pointed out that since the youngsters will be playing in a very hot environment they’ve made sure they consume lots of vitamins and take liquids as much as possible.

In 2008 and 2009 Bree Primary won the finals and have qualified for 2015 edition, were they will battle it out with 31 teams worldwide.

Mamelodi Sundowns FC has come aboard to assist the boys with preparations.

Themba Tshabalala spokesperson for SASFA says they’re happy with the boys’ progression, readiness and commitment.

“As always, we’re behind our youngsters”.

Tshabalalala also noted with concern that despite the decision taken by SAFA to dissolve SASFA, they will engage with SASCOC on the issue of Protea colours to be won by the team at future Danone finals.

“All the teams from all over the world use their national colours, why not SA?” he asked.
The boys leave for Morocco on October 20 and the tourney begins from 23.
