Every year Bushfire camping, as well as most local hotels, are completely booked prior to the festival’s start, so if you haven’t done so already – now is the time to plan your trip.

Some reminders for everyone traveling to Swaziland – please remember that over 20,000 people attend Bushfire, many of them coming from outside of Swaziland and the borders can be heavy with traffic.
Consider using one of the lower volume border posts (they keep shorter hours than Golela and Oshoek.
You will require a passport to enter Swaziland, and please make sure you have checked the visa requirements.
Please remember to either print out your ticket or have your ticket QR code downloaded on your smartphone for ease of entry to the festival.
Remember to bring your photo ID or a copy as you may be asked for it, as well as the credit card used to purchase the ticket (if applicable).
Gates will open at 6pm on Friday May 27. Please note there are no refunds and no tickets will be sold at the gate. Children ages 5 and under are admitted free and proof of age may be required.
Remember to pack your hat and sunblock, the days are sunny but the nights are chilly, so make sure you have warm clothes for the evenings. No alcohol or food will be allowed in the main festival venue and no weapons can be brought into this safe and family friendly event.
If you are staying off site – please make sure you have a designated driver, drinking and driving is taken very seriously in Swaziland and road blocks are common.
There is a wide selection of food and drink available on site and there are also bank machines for your convenience.
Bushfire’s Park and Ride system, powered by Motor Vehicle Accident fund and Total, offers shuttles to and from the festival site and various pick-up/drop-off points. This system will commence on 27 May 2016 and run for the duration of the festival, operating along the Mbabane- Malkerns- Manzini corridor.
The pick-up points are: Mbabane (The Mall – outside Harvey World Travel) Ezulwini (The Gables – outside Spur) Manzini (The Hub – outsideSwaziNet)
Shuttles will operate on an hourly basis to and from the festival, starting at 17:00 on Friday, running until 03:00. On Saturday, the service will run from 10:00 to 04:00 and on Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00. The cost of the shuttle is E20 per trip.
