A (16) old aspiring model is asking for help in the form of a donation to fulfil her dream, and she goes by the name of Onthatile Taunyane.
The North West born, will be partaking in the Globe Modellook Examination and Model of the Year 2026 ceremony.
The main event has been scheduled to take place in Rustenburg on December 5, this year.
Onthatile (as the name suggest the one who is loved)- is inviting businesses, community members, family and friends to support her participation as a debutante.
From a young age, modelling has held a special place in her heart. It has helped her build confidence, practise discipline and learn to value herself. Through her journey, she hopes to encourage other young women to believe in their abilities and pursue the opportunities that matter to them, according to her mom.
The words on her poster express what this dream means to her: “My ambition is not just to wear fashion, but to become it. I don’t chase the spotlight, I was born to stand in it.”
The donation(s) would help her raise funds towards the required participation fees of R250 per examination item or category, with a R250 entry fee for Model of the Year.
The sponsorship form lists award that will also recognise the model who raises the highest amount. So, lets’ get moving folks…
“This opportunity is an answer to many prayers. It carries the hope Onthatile has held onto and the sacrifices her family has made to support her.”
Continued her proud mom:” Preparing for this journey has taught her patience, resilience and the value of hard work. There is still much to learn, and she is grateful to have people who encourage her as she grows.”
