Avroy Shlain celebrates 40 donkey years' in the beauty industry! As part of its celebrations, the beauty company is giving away 5 beauty hampers to lucky winners worth R350 each!

Avroy Shlain products are synonymous in townships for the company has created employment by beautifully crafting what is known as ‘direct- selling’ targeting women and professionals to augment their income.

However, young females have been called upon to stake their claim in this multimillion direct selling and earn a decent living.

To celebrate its milestone, the beauty empire will activate beauty workshops throughout the country to conscientious the public about the products and history, it has fondly and passionately created over 40 odd years’.

Cape Town will rev-off the festivities from May 25, and other major regions would follow suit.

Managing Director of Avroy Shlain, Justin Hewett says the selling of cosmetics is the tool, but the growth of people is the objective.

 “The vision is to empower thousands of women in South Africa by creating a quality range of skin care and beauty products that is sold through direct selling,” she says.

 Its slogan, which encapsulates the philosophy of the company states: not what we do that makes a difference; it’s the legacy we leave behind for others to follow for years into the future, fulfilling their potential and their dreams.

 Today the product is sold throughout Southern Africa with over 70 000 distributors. 

True to its mandate, Avroy Shlain appointed  TV personality, Noeleen Maholwana Sangqu, of 3 Talk fame, as the Avroy Shlain Confidence Ambassador for 2013.

 “The tour would be in the form of a Theatre Truck, that would offer a morning lecture in major areas on topics on women need and want, and how best to thrive and not just survive. This will be linked to their drive and will form an integral part of their commitment to empowering women and promoting entrepreneurship,” says Hewett.

 The new Avroy Shlain logo and moving to new premises are some of the plans the company would be executing.

 Hewett says the birthday focus is on women who have helped support Avroy Shlain over the past four decades and who are still benefitting from the company’s products, its innovations, initiatives and drive.

 When the Avroy Shlain truck reaches the different cities and towns consumers will be given an opportunity to visit the Avroy Shlain Theatre Truck and interact with Avroy Shlain Distributors, the Avroy Shlain products, have a complimentary make-over or mini-facial, or even sign up and be recruited as an Avroy Shlain Beauty Advisor.
